McLeay Precision Engineering is a privately owned company, evolving from the restructure of the Southland Engineering Group (McLeay Industries, Melhop Engineering).

The Directors, Vic Boyington and Jelle Keizer have 45 years experience in toolmaking and precision engineering.

McLeay Precision Engineering services a wide range of customers needs within the South, and manufacture a large range of equipment, spares and operating tooling for all areas of the NZ Aluminium Smelter operation.

The supply and manufacture of stainless steel and carbon steel conveyor chains, rollers and sprockets.

Equipment is also manufactured for Australian smelters.
